Casio FZ1 / Hohner HS1: How to be used as midi controler for Music Maker ?

Dear All,

i want to use my very old Hohner HS1 = Casion FZ1 Sampler Keyboard as a midi controler only in Music Maker.

I bought a Midi to USB Cable and the computer Windows 7 installed the driver of this interface (cable).

In music maker i tried a lot of settings but i can not get it to work, e.g. use the keyboard to play sounds in Music Maker.

Any help, step by step solution / how to available.

Many thanks ahead for your answers.

Chris from Germany

In the Music Maker Program Settings, did you choose your USB/MIDI cable (or the HS1) as the "MIDI Input Device"?

In the Casio FZ-1 manual, it does not appear to have a "Local OFF" setting.

The keyboard must be set to transmit MIDI on the same MIDI channel (1-16) that MMM is set to receive.  Check the settings on your keyboard and in the Vita MIDI Editor.
