cant seem to get my microphone to work

hello. so i am very new to this program. i managed to get the audio to playback into my headset, but i cant for the life of me figure out how to assign my microphone to record. i am trying to make a rap album and cant really move ahead with anything if i cant record on any of the content that i have created so far. I don't really have too much patience as far as PC's are concerned. can someone please help?

im using MAGIX Music Maker 2016 Live

@real-incorrigible USB microphone? You need to select the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver in the Music Maker program settings and then click on "Advanced..." to open the driver settings where you need to activate your microphone as an input.
