LordofSadFace wrote on 3/6/2018, 2:48 PM

I just bought the latest basic bundle from Humble Bundle which includes keys for MP3 Deluxe 19, Music Maker EDM Edition and Soundpool: Deeper Shades of House and im trying to use first MP3 Deluxe, however the installer is supposed to download some files to install it and it does nothing, it just shows a window where its supposed to be downloading it but it doesnt do anything besides the downloading animation, i tried deactivating my antivirus and firewall is already deactivated so no idea why this happens, some help? im using Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 btw.

Sounds like a corrupt installer. Restart the pc and try this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/v6buxrqnq6d6pef/MP3_deluxe_19_DLM_Humble_Bundle_2017_180216_15-12.exe?dl=0

Hmmm

Ok. now there is a surprise. You say no error messages, no popups, etc. I can think of a few solutions to try. It would be easier for you to allow me to log in on your system using a remote assistance programme like 'TeamViewer' and attempt to get the prog installed ( i am someone with over 15 years of pc repair skills).

I would suggest a registry cleaner (the one I would use doesn't have to be installed) then try again.... shoot me a reply either way.

@LordofSadFace

chris-hammond7817 has very generously offered to remote into your computer to assist you with this problem. I don't wish to belittle his efforts in any way but please be aware he is not a Magix employee, and Magix staff do not offer this service, so you should always exercise considerable caution when agreeing to such a proposal, especially where the other party is not personally known to you.

@chris-hammond7817

I apologise to you if the above sounds as if I am trying to demean you but I hope you understand why, as a Moderator, I must post the general advice about such a procedure as Remote Assistance being used "with care".

Here is the error I get, nothing else. Money badly spend I say if program isn't working at all...

@lexa92

Which option did you choose? Hopefully, to send the error report to Magix. If you did so, I think that gives you an option to include your email address to which, hopefully, you may receive a reply.

Yes I add my email address to report. But I did that over week ago and no answer. I hoped if someone here could help me with this.

@lexa92

In which case I can only suggest you open a Support Ticket here including referring to the fact that you have already sent an error report. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful to you!
