Cant get rid of the magnifying glass in the MIDI editor

Harmen wrote on 11/30/2022, 2:21 PM

I suddenly can't draw notes or move them in the MIDI editor anymore - whatever button I choose from the top bar

All I get as a mouse cursor is the magnifying glass and all I can do is zoom in or out. In the picture above I have chosen the pencil but I still get the magnifying glass. It renders the MIDI editor completely useless. What am I doing wrong?

@Harmen This is a bug. It sometimes happens. Magix cannot solve this bug because nobody found a reliable way to reproduce it.

It usually helps to restart the computer.

Just Signing off from Windows might help also.

@Harmen

Hi

I see from your other posts, you have been having several issues with Music Maker.

What is your computer specification - see this topic for what is required, please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) your are working with if this is a laptop.

I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it - see mine as an example of layout.

Ah thanks - that helps but it's a pity that I need to resort to that.
