Cant get audio into the inputs

I am trying to digitize and clean-up my old cassette tapes. I have a Scarlett 18i20 as my input device into my PC. I can record from cassette via Studio One but cant seem to record directly into The Cleaning Lab. Is this possible? Or just the crap we have to put up with when Sony sells out to amateurs' ?

@Greg-Gardner Did you set up the audio driver and the recording settings? Did you read the manual how to do it?

i record cassettes and vinyl both into my Focusrite 2i2, and my cheap Behringer interface...works fine, never had a problem. which exact program and version number are you using, and how are you setting it up?

Yes of course! FYI I hate this company.

hi @Greg-Gardner Audio Cleaning Lab series is Sound Forge in name only...the Sound Forge developers do not make this...Sony never developed Audio Cleaning Lab either. i can't reproduce this issue at all, but it would be helpful for everyone if you could describe in detail (or show screenshots or videos, etc) of exactly what happens when you try to record. we are happy to help you, but we need as much info as we can get, because there aren't any other reports of this happening with ACL at the moment so we have to troubleshoot it a bit. thanks!
