Magix has discontinued FastCut. It no longer exists on their servers.

No-one owns any software except the developers. What you owned was a licence to use the software for it's working lifespan. Look at any end user licence agreement for software. Some older software on discs that relied on just entering a password that came with the disk would still work but copyright theft and cracked versions changed all that some time back.
