I am trying to download movie studio 2023 platinum via the your installer but it continually fails, retries and fails. I have restarted several times but cannot get it to download.
Check that your Antivirus/Firewall is not blocking the program from installing - this is a known issue with some AV's.
If you are usng Windows 11 you may also need to turn off the Windows settings, Privacy & security, App and browser control, Reputation based protection, Smart screen option.
The installer should be in the Magix Downloads, Installations manager folder - you may not need to download it again.
Its not a firewall issue. Its getting to a random amount of the download then failing every time. Similar to what has previously been reported. I am using win 10. there is no Magix Downloads, Installation manager folder.
The image you posted is showing that the Download Manager has downloaded the program installer, see image below, the green progress bar does not complete until the program is fully installed.
The next step which should be happening is the program installer launches, however it would appear that the installer could not be found hence the error message, and possibly the lack of the Magix Downloads folder.
This would suggest your Antivirus program has/is blocking the download - try temporarily turning off the Potected Folder/Realtime protection features.
Did you get any other messages appear eg
. . . .Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. . . .
That was that one time, other didnt get that far and after it wants to restart to download again. If I cancel on that message it tries to unpack the file but it is corrupt. There is no virus or firewall issues. Made sure I run installer as administrator.
