Cannot view any slideshow etc...

Just recently I had my computer "PRO" update my computer and he installed Driver detective. I informed him that It must be compatible with Magix xtreme Photostory and gave him all the system requirement. I got my computer back and now when i go to watch the demo or my own slideshow i get a Magix error: wave form output device " cannot play this format" Reason A Device ID has been used that is out of range for your system... My Computer "Pro" saids not his problem... Please advise me.. I do believe it's his fault because the program was working O.K.... Either way I am so excited and determined to get this to work but am very frustrated....Thank-you!!!

That's a bummer!
So many computer "pros" today are un-certified tinkerers and have no business servicing other peoples machines.

First thing I would do is re-install Magix; it seems that a file Magix was dependant on has been changed. By re-installing you may be able to replace that file with the Magix preferred and it's as simple as that.

If that does not work let me know and we'll go from there.
