Cannot Import mp3 files

Hello I just purchased Music Maker Premium Edition. The problem is I am not able to import mp3 files. They just don't show up in my file manager. And when I forcible try to import by drag and drop I get an error that Magix Music Maker is not able to recognize the file (name.mp3) or format. Please make sure that the disk is not full or write protected. I can only import .flac types of files. When I went to program settings and to the import tab, there is no .mp3 option in import format list only, which maybe the reason I am not able to import .mp3 files. Please help as my entire collection is in mp3.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

First, exactly which version of MM Premium are you using? if you go to Help>About you will see the exact version number displayed.

I've just tested this with version 24.1.6.127 and the mp3 imported without a problem.

What is the exact format of your mp3 files? If you're not sure, use the free MediaInfo utility to analyse one of your files and post the results of the Tree view here.

Hi

From the MediaInfo information - it looks like this mp3 is in iTunes.

If this and the other files are in iTunes then they are probably locked by the DRM system because they are Copyrighted, and can only be played on the appropriate devices you have registered with iTunes. they will not be available to any other software.

Umm, Actually I paly this track everywhere and I only downloaded it from a website outside of iTunes. But this another sample is there and it is also not showing up and giving same error,
