Cannot get Sound Forge Audio Studio 16 to launch

I have Windows 10 Pro and I just bought Sound Forge Audio Studio 16 to launch. Everytime I attempt to open the program, I will get the splash banner, for 7-8 seconds and after that point, it goes off...

I tried to uninstall, using the Revo Uninstaller, twice.

And, that didnot help, at all

When, I installed, Sound Forge, and clicked on the quick launch button, it did the same (it went off), both times.

Has anyone, experienced the same effect, with, Sound Forge Audio Studio 16 ?

@WAYNE-DANIELS9357 Try holding CTRL and SHIFT and double click on the program icon to start the program. Keep holding CTRL and SHIFT until a small window appears that will ask you if you want to reset the program settings. Does this help you?

I have loaded the Sound Forge Audio 17 software, that I recently bought from Amazon, onto my new Windows 11 laptop. The software says that it loaded successfully, bu I cannot get the program to launch. Every time I hit the launch button, I get a screen asking me to load the software (again (!!). How do I get Sound Forge to launch?

@Bob-Hobley Can you upload a screenshot of your problem?

I just keep going around in a circle!

I have not been asked by the software to load the "voucher code" that came with the disc.

@Bob-Hobley

If you have a voucher code, as a first step you need to read this web page which tells you exactly how to redeem that code, which is NOT a serial key for the software.

The screenshot you posted shows that the software is successfully installed but @SP. was asking for a shot of the message that appears when you try to launch the app.

@Bob-Hobley Yeah, it looks like you simply launched the installer again and not Sound Forge itself. There should either be a shortcut on your Windows desktop or in the Windows Start Menu to launch the app.

The app just ask me to reload Music Maker, then I get this an error message shown below:

There is a specific forum for the Magix sister software Music Maker. I assume the 'reset' procedure would be the same though when it will not open to reveal the "Reset all preferences and cached data" in the 'File' menu.
