Cannot export

I just purchased the download version of Music Maker 2014. I am familiar with the Music Maker platform and have been using previous versions for years. After installing and registering my copy, I attempted to create a song to be exported as a .WAV file. For some reason, every single export option is grayed out and I am not able to export at all. What do I have to do in order to make the export options available? I have attempted multiple restarts of the program and my computer. I have searched the internet and the help documentation for MM2014.

In my experience with Magix Music Maker when the new product is released we can face some problems. To fix that I can think of

1. Update your software. 2. Contact Magix support and explain your problem. 3. May be in the meantime someone will guide you in right direction. But you should also include which version of Windows you are using.

Thanks, but everything you mentioned was covered in my initial question except which version of Windows I'm using, which is Windows 7 64bit but that is not relevant.

I am not a new user of Music Maker, except for this version, and I am well aware of the myriad of bugs and issues that plague their products upon launch. My gut is telling me that my problem stems from some sort of registration step or a step I am missing - something like that.

Also, before posting my question, I made sure the version I had installed was up to date. And I would love nothing more than to talk to technical support, but in a scam of monumental proportions, this company is charging $12.95 in order for the privilege to speak to someone. If you feel that you shouldn't have to spend the average American's hourly wage to get someone on the phone to help you out with a product you just spent $100 on, you're stuck with canned answers in the FAQ or reaching out to the community for the possibility of being helped.
