cannot copy crossfade to other pictures

Hi,

I just got MEP 18 and wanna do a timelapse clip. For that I have 200 pics and naturally I want them all to crossfade. So I chose the first one with "crossfade". Then I right-clicked and chose "Video effects" and there

"Apply video effects to all the following.."

Problem is all the following pictures have a fade called "Thru black". Anyone knows why that is?

Thanks..

Hi

Try this:

1. Make the first transition a Cut

2. Select all the clips

3. Right click the transition button in the lower left corner of the clip you applied the cut to.

4. Select  Apply to all objects in the track.  This will remove any gaps between the images.

5. Repeat 1 - 3 for the transition you want to use.

HTH
