Cannot connect to online services due to registration mismatch

Recently, I've been asked upon opening my Vegas Pro 15 installation to re-activate my licence. I've done that, and provided my current working e-mail address. Not long after, I've started facing problems that my Vegas Pro cannot establish a connection to the online services. I've read somewhere that deactivating and reactivating the software could solve this problem, but I've faced another problem with that: To deactivate the software, it needs to connect to the online services, which is can't, resulting in an error code -19.

After a little digging, I've come up with a possible explanation to my problem: The e-mail address used for the original activation and the one used for the re-activation are not the same, which causes the above mentioned problem. To make matters worse, the original e-mail address used doesn't even exist anymore, and I have no MAGIX account associated with that registration. What could I possibly do at this point?
