Which account? With whom? And what is the original posting you refer to?

Without that information there is almost no chance of anyone being able to help you.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your response.

I created an account on ACIDplanet in 2009. This now redirects to producerplanet.com. When
requesting a new password i'm redirected to magix.info... So any or all of those sites. I want to cancel my account because it's specific credentials leaked in a data breach.

the account is by the email of: Removed by Moderator to protect personal data

Any way you could help?

Best,

Joep

Hi.

This is a user to user forum, so no-one posting here can access any information about your account. You will need to contact Magix directly.

As a matter of interest, where did the data breach occur, i.e. which web site? If it was on one of Magix' sites I am sure they will wish to know.

Thanks for the info. I have contacted Magix directly.

I'm getting the obvious and usual "you're account has been hacked" phishing emails for this emailaddress that I have only used for ACIDplanet in the past, so I can't conclude other than that it appears in some data breach. However, it doesn't show up on haveibeenpwned.com so I can't be sure sadly :(

@Peep-Tuut

Hi

. . . . I'm getting the obvious and usual "you're account has been hacked" phishing emails for this emailaddress . . .

This does not mean there has been a data breach or your account has been hacked.

Phishing is aided by software that can generate random email addresses and checking that they exist is relatively simple.
