Can you help get my Akai MPK mini working on Magix Music Maker MX?

Too many people like me are having difficulties with Magix Music Maker  MX recognizing and correctly interfacing with their USB keyboards!  I just got an akai MPK mini. My windows vista home premium recognizes the device. I followed the directions for adding the new device in Magix Music Maker  MX per directions in the PDF manual....still not working! Can someone please tell ALL OF US how to get our usb midi keyboards working with your software! At this point I am no longer enjoying your product and will look for something else that works if this wide spread problem is not addressed in detail or fixed.

We are not MAGIX.  MAGIX does not read these postings except for monitoring purposes or respond to them except on extremely rare occasions.  The people who answer questions here are all MAGIX product user's.

Hi

MMM should work OK with the Akai MPK so please read these two excellent tutorials by Nihon94 on this subject here:

http://www.magix.info/uk/how-to-connect-keyboard-piano-with-computer-ii.online-training.130220.html

http://www.magix.info/uk/how-to-solve-latency-problem.online-training.130215.html

These should help you out.  If neither help then there is either a problem with the Akai, or as Procyon says,  you need to contact Magix support.

Also you can use the search box on the right to check for problems to see if they have been covered before - more than likely.

HTH
