Try importing a MusicMaker .mmm file into Samplitude. It should work fine except if you used Instruments that you got with MMM or through the MMM Store that are not available in Samplitude. Those instruments will not be loaded. The same applies to the mxcogg files for Soundpools purchased through the Store - they won't work in Samplitude.
One of the problems is that since the advent of the Store, the instruments are not interchangeable between MMM and Samplitude or Samplitude Music Studio. If you have Sam Suite, then you can simply substitute the MMM instrument for the equivalent in Independence.
Cause i just got MMM (paid version) as i want to create songs and songs and songs...
Once i'm ready, i want to move to the pro recording side, if you prefer and i'll get Pro X3 then (or 4 if available).
I have been a pro musician/singer for over 30 years now but never really worked on creating music so... Well i did in the late eighties with a band and made some cash but, gave up and concentrated on playing live and getting paid on a daily basis hahahahaha
MMM is very good, but for serious work, you need something better and Sam is about the best.
With MMM, you can only record one track at a time, and you can't define multiple tempos or tempo changes. You can change the tempo of a recording, but that is not the same. And on and on.
Watch for special pricing around Black Friday or Christmas.
There is no import function for mmm-files in PRO-X3. However, you can drag such a file with the mouse to the empty desktop of X3. All Vitas that you have purchased in the MM-Shop, however, are worthless in this way of working. I hope that Magix changes this very quickly, because why should I not be able to use acquired things reasonably?
