Hi

More detail on how you are 'uploading' to your computer would be appreciated also read this post

If by mini disc you mean mini DVD then you can copy the files direct into your computer by putting the disc in your computer DVD drive.

Hi, I'm using movie edit pro 14. when I format the discs I do it on the VR setting. To up load them to the computer I put the disc direct into my computer. but as I said some times it will not load the entire disc.

cheers

Hi Craig

I assume the recordings are .vro files.  I have found that MEP,  any version, does not handle these files very well when they exceed a certain size.

VRO files are container files and can contain multiple VOBs inside them and it is when there is more than one vob that the problem occurs.

I have had MEP 14, 15,16,17 and MX and they all could not import a multiple vob vro file correctly - it appears that the first vob only gets imported.

You need the correct converter to extract the video properly before importing into MEP,  you may have one included in the software supplied with your camera.

I use the AVS4You video converter for vro files and it does a very good job - it is not expensive either.
