Hi, I have opened up spectralayers 4 after quite a long absence and have completely forgotten how to use it. For example I would like to go through a 5 minute file and select a small section, then keep playing, add another selection and so on until there might be 10 or 20 selections, then paste those to a new layer. What happens is that I can select a section and then not hear anything else regardless of where the cursor is positioned, or not play any other area of the file - cursor just jumps to the selection (this happens even after the selection is unselected - there is some sort of bar in the ruler at the top) and so on. Very frustrating.

Is there a method to do what I have in mind - play an entire file and make multiple selections along the way, stopping and starting as one goes.

I am aware of the selection tools that allow for adding selections - this is not a problem with that
