can't seem to buy samplitude se

Hi- I am trying to buy samplitude se- and assuming I can use the $15 discount voucher promised on your front page.
But I always end up with a page saying I have "nothing in my basket"
Cookies are enabled in both browsers I've tried (IE8 and Chrome).
I am keen to buy this software and try it out- what do I need to do!
Cheers

Hi,

this is a Community, not the MAGIX Support. Of course the shop should work.

I will try to forward your mail.

Love Samplitude too....

Cheers

..the reason is (as it was told me) that you try to buy on the US site and that your IP is not from the US. So the only solution seems to be to go over the samplitude.com and to pay in €......

Hi- thanks Lazerboy. Unfortunately the price, converted into NZ dollars, is rather more expensive in euros (and, if it works at all, the sign-up coupon less generous). Shame- I use cubase essential, but have heard great things about samplitude, for simple ease of recording and editing and for sound quality. I want to try it on my laptop.   (Slight backstory... I understand the fabulous developer of the digitalfishphones plugs works on samplitude. His stuff is superb- I'm curious what else there is.) Might investigate getting a back-issue of computer music (I understand it was on some of the dvds) Also looking at an infrasonic soundcard, but that seems hard to get here... Cheers- and thanks again.

post script: what's worse: buying in euros adds some sort of 17% euro tax- yet I'm in NZ and should not have to pay this. On the plus side: I found I had an old copy of Computer music, with a disc containing Samplitude SE 9. Yay!
Sadly... the OEM serial number keeps coming up as invalid (I bought the magazine new) ... and so far I've not heard back about what I might be able to do to get it running.
Oh well. cubase is not that bad!
pps: whee, got it going, with some help from magix support. Looks pretty good, though a fairly steep learning curve. So far: not loving the midi too much (but that may be me) The audio tools and ways of working seem pretty good.
Long way to go yet! Should search out some tutorial material.
