Did you specify a template? If so which one?

I read in another forum that you should install QuickTime to fix that.

If you wish to render a specific Quicktime format .. then yes, the QT codecs need to be installed . The desired QT template would still need to be specified in 'Save as' as @JoaoBC stated.

In any case, muxing in replacement audio is a better option, which leaves the picture elements untouched, thus avoiding quality loss with another lossy render generation.

If your editing video, use a video editing app like Vegas.
