Can't remove beat /create multiple per-bar note sets

So I can't seem to REMOVE a beat once I have one chosen. The only way to "disable" it is to "turn off" that beat, leaving it in the list. Is there actually a way to remove the beat from the list for real?

Also, this really sucks, but in any given bar, you can only have ONE set of notes. Those notes change ALL the beats that depend on notes. I can't have one beat with one set of notes, and a second beat with a DIFFERENT set of notes, in the SAME bar. Again, if I'm wrong, please let know.

I'm running the phablet version of MMJ, not the tablet or PC version (in case you need to know my layout).

Hi

What you are asking for is an advanced feature which MMJ, being a very basic music creation program does not support.
