Can't record vita instruments?

Can't record using vita instruments even though I have them set to midi record

How are you playing in order to record? Are you using the keyboard in the media pool or the keyboard with the drum instrument or the keypad with the drum machine? If you are trying to use the drum machine, you cannot record from it. You have to use the piano keyboard in the media pool or an external keyboard or pad.

In your image, close the ASIO4All screen. As it is, I can see that you do not have an external midi instrument connected.
