Can't record

I have Sony Sound Forge 11 Pro build 234. It was installed in a computer with a Sound Blaster ZXR audio card. The OS was upgraded from windows 7 to 10 pro and it worked perfect. I installed the card and Sound Forge in a new computer with a fresh install of windows 10 pro and now SF will not record. It says An error occurred while recording and a device is not available. Also the Aux in and what U hear inputs don't work on the card. Are these two problems related? Could you please help me with this problem?

@Carlo-Mencucci Please check that in Windows Start Menu > Settings > Privacy > Microphone the ‘Allow desktop apps to access your microphone’ option is turned on.
