You might want to get in touch with MAGIX support, if you haven't done so yet. This kind of problem calls for a more detailed technical analysis.

In a nutshell: Most problems we have seen with this current generation of Music Maker not starting up properly, not displaying correctly, or crashing during operation were related to the user interface technology being used now (Qt) not being properly supported on some systems, e.g. due to insufficient graphics hardware, outdated drivers etc.

So, you should consider checking and updating your graphics drivers. Alternatively, download and run this fix, which will configure Music Maker's GUI engine to run in a more compatible rendering mode:
