Can't open 2006 era .vf files with Movie Studio 16.0 Platinum

Super frustrated that I can't re-open this past work to re-edit, render, etc. Does anyone know of any 'tricks' to repair/upgrade older .vf files to work with them today?

MS16 is a Vegas product and Vegas products have their own forum so please refer to the Important Posts at the top of this forum page for direction to the Vegas forum.
