Can't hear any music playing from the music maker program

Hi,

I'm using Music Maker Version 28.0.0.12. I've just installed it onto my new computer (Lenovo Yoga - windows 10) and whilst music can play from any other program whenever I try to play music from music maker I can't hear the sound. I've gone through most of the windows 10 sound fixes and it's still not working. If anyone can suggest a fix for this problem that would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Which audio driver have you set MM to use in File>Settings>Program (shortcut P)>Audio/MIDI tab>Audio playback? It needs to be set to an ASIO driver, most likely "Magix low latency.." if you have no other ASIO driver installed on your machine.

Check that you do not have any track armed for recording - either Audio Rec as shown below or MIDI Rec.

Note: while Music maker has control of the Audio card using the ASIO options, you will not be able to hear audio from any other sources, Music Maker locks out other software from using the sound card.
