Can't get midi recorder to work on Music maker 16.

Can't record with my midi keyboard. Using Magix music maker 16 (purchased download version). Using a midi to usb converter cable to connect keyboard to PC. In the program's audio/midi settings, it can detect a usb audio device in both the input and output.  I switch to the ASIO driver and am using the Magix low latency 2008. Still not picking up any notes from my keyboard when recording MIDI.  Any ideas how to make the two talk?

It would be helpful if you told us the make and model of the keyboard you are using.

Also, if you are using MS Windows, you need to go into the Control Panel and open the "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon.  On the Audio tab, make sure your keyboard is listed as the Sound Recording device.

HI,

Every time you want to use your keyboard :

1 -  link your keyboard first to your computer

2 - Only after, execute MMM, go in the program's parameters (shortcut Y), select AUDIO & MIDI. In MIDI input select your MIDI keyboard.
