Can't Export Any Tracks

Dylan-Smith wrote on 2/21/2017, 4:37 PM

Hi,

For some reason, I'm unable to export any tracks from the program. The only option I can click from the export tab is 'Common Export Options'. I have tried reinstalling the program and shutting my computer off, but no luck

I have linked a picture of the options given to me on the export tab

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks

This issue is affecting several users and also myself.

Every version of Music Maker I have installed on my laptop is affected, however my PC has not been affected - yet!

Hi,

Just tried exporting to a wav and it worked fine for me on my Surface Pro - MMM2017 Premium version 24.1.4.75. Haven't tried my desktop yet. Hope I don't catch this.

Hi

. . . . Every version of Music Maker I have installed on my laptop is affected, however my PC has not been affected - yet! . . . .

I have fixed my MMM versions so they all export now OK.

The only thing I did was to run MalwareBytes - it found some left over registry keys from Quicktime and some QT installers and reboot the laptop.

These were removed and, after the laptop reboot, the affected versions of MMM were tested - all export functions were back.

The fact that my PC was not affected may be because I uninstalled Quicktime back in April 2016 and checked the computer with MalwareBytes several times between then and now - the laptop had QT uninstalled a couple of monhs ago, however was not cleaned with MalwareBytes at that time.

I am puzzled why this should fix the problem 😟

Hello all

My Magix maker 16' can't make .MMM files to MP3. I have scanned for threats on Webroot and I don't have Quicktime. I'm on Windows 10. And it has exported fine before. I don't understand whats going on but this looks like a bad bug because its affecting almost every other Magix (insert year here).
