Can't drag N' drop or import, WAV /MP3 /AIFF or /FLAC files + more.

MM/ Mod wrote me on 3/21/2022, 6:40 AM Regarding the issues I am posting as follows:

"@Martin-Henry It's a good idea to go into the program settings and to click on the button to clean up the store if something doesn't work correctly in Music Maker.SP".

This I did and D-L'd the upgrade to ver. 300.5.47 (which took over an hour and 1/2).

Still the same deal. I can't drag and drop a/o import, WAV /MP3 /AIFF or /FLAC files and challenges me, in a store banner, to purchase Music Maker 2022 SP all over again. Or purchase a corresponding function for this from the store. Again I ask: Why is this? I've already paid for this version of Music Maker 2022 SP as of December-2021 for Win10.

I was invited to send an error report. After shipping that, I had to open Music Maker 2022 SP version back up again after I minimized it into my Taskbar.

And finally: Vita Sampler is listed but won't open. Instead, a banner comes up saying, "Techno Drums" isn't available', or, "is unable to be opened." It worked fine in Samplitude that came as a Bundle with my Music Maker 2022 SP purchase.

Thank You.
Best regards,

/MH~

Hi

. . . . Music Maker 2022 SP . . . .

To avoid confusion - the program name is Music Maker, the version number is 30.0.5.47, and you will have one of the 3 main editions - Free, Plus or Premium or one of the special editions eg EDM.

SP. is the username of a forum member who gave you the instructions to clear the Store cache.

As in your previous comment in December - are you logged in/joined on the Music Maker (MMM) welcome screen top right panel?

Did you download and install all the Extra content?

Are you now running on Windows 11?

Hi

From your other post re Sound Forge:-

. . . . It installed but I felt check boxing Music Maker meant it was scale-down version for within Song Forge 15. It wasn't.  . . . .

it looks like you have reinstalled the Free version of Music Maker again.

There is only one version of Music Maker.

Login to the Store on the Welcome page and reinstall all the extra content that appears under the Download tab.

Once all this has been done you should be able to add audio files to the timeline again.

@johnebaker:

Appreciate your reply and yes, I was aware of SP as being a user or (Mod) in replying to me. I must have mistaken him adding SP as an acronym after he started referring to Music Maker with an SP after it. I got here by selecting Music Maker in the Help section after getting an email link from support.

To be clear, I did purchase Music Maker 2022 Premium Edition/Music Made easy on 12-23-21 for $79.99 US. I also activated Samplitude audio recording and loaded all that. It's interesting that my version of Music Maker Premium opens up all the VST Plug-ins I activated in Samplitude.

I also don't understand where you ask:

"Did you download and install all the Extra content?"
And:

"Are you now running on Windows 11?"

I'm running Win10. I did mention that in the Forum Post section somewhere, but apparently forgot to re-mention it again in the comments you read.

In my records, I copy-paste everything into a Doc Folder (including order numbers, serial numbers and any bundles, etc). and Register anything and activate them. When that is completed, I run a strike through symbol through everything to remind me that I did download that section correctly.

So, I reviewed my folder on this while typing to you here. I noticed at the bottom where it says:
Learn more about how to activate sounds,
features & instruments in Music Maker here:

https://rdir.magix.net/?page=FDFD85F0ZX2V

There's no strike through symbol running through it by me. Which means, for whatever the reason at the time, I didn't click that link yet. Is this what you mean by asking: "Did you download and install all the Extra content?"

I just checked it out and honestly don't remember seeing the graphic tabs and instructions on it. So, after I ship this reply out to you, I'll go do that and see what's up. Maybe by the time you may reply back, I'll have a better answer for the both of us regarding all of this.

Thank you.

Regards,

/MH~

@Martin-Henry

Hi,

Once you have installed Music Maker 2022 (it's free), you then log in (Join) then activate the serial number for 2022 Premium Edition. After that, you go to the Downloads tab (the Cloud button on the top menu) and download and install everything that is there. An Edition unlocks features and presets and plugins, most of which have to be downloaded and installed.

Once everything is done, then try using the program and importing audio files.

In the Store, the banners at the top are advertising, they are not telling you to purchase something again. They are the same for everyone, whether or not you have what they are advertising.
