Can't connect M Audio Code 61 to Magix Music Maker

Hello, I can't start up and connect Code 61 to Magix Music Maker. My computer recognizes the MIDI, I set up Code 61 as my MIDI Input device in Music Maker, but there is no sound from the keyboard. I want to record instruments directly from code 61, but there is no sound. Do I need to download code 61 drivers, or I have to buy MIDI cable (midi in and out)? Or maybe I have to set some settings with buttons in Code 61? Does anyone have the same problem?

Thank you very much

Hi

I would suggest you see this 'Getting started with Music Maker' tutorial by John CB. In there the subject of MIDI recording is covered along with many other useful tips.
