Can't Change Track End Marker

chemikalguy wrote on 4/16/2018, 10:34 AM

I just installed this program over the weekend, and was playing around with it. I'm new to digital music creation, so I just started adding some beats, etc., and when I got to 17 bars of music, it wont' let me go any further. I read online someone saying that you just need to drag the end marker out, adding more bars/measures. I can't even find the end marker. Is there a basic tutorial or users guide somewhere? The built-in help doesn't help at all.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

Does this help?

Thanks for the reply. I tried dragging it to the right, but it doesn't move. Is there somewhere else that you can manually type in a length in minutes?

Hi

If the marker is already at the end of the timeline pane then you need to zoom out in order to drag the end marker.

The zoom controls are the + and - controls at the bottom right corner of the timeline pane.

I'll have to try that (again) when I get home. I know I did that, but maybe I didn't do it right, or enough. Thanks!
