I am doubting that it will work in anything but a Magix program. I am having a similar issue with Magix' VSTs included in the Sound Forge 10 Pro Suite.

I have been able to get other DAWs to find and scan those plugins, and even pass audio through them, but no effect from the VST itself.

It seems that any of the Magix "Suite" collections are probably tied to one authorization/serial/security code that will only allow these to be used in a Magix program.

I have not been officially told this, but if that is the case, it's not a very good policy, since Magix is not upfront about this when you're purchasing.

Hi Guys,

I have read in another post that Magix will compromise with you if you want to use a specific plug-in like Independence Pro in another DAW. You will have to purchase a license for it but it is the minimum license fee of $65. This will allow you to use Independence with the full library in another DAW.

By the way did you guys realize there is a dedicated forum for Samplitude? You should check it out .... I think you will find it much more informative. It includes many threads & posts about individual aspects of Samplitude like the plug-ins and Independence.
