Can I release my music without a license?

So i've been using this program a lot, it's really fun plus easy to understand and it has taught me a lot of things, the think is, what happens if i made a song with normal soundpools and i wanted to release it to let's say... soundcloud or bandcap? without making any money out of it? i've read that you can as long as it's not comercial use, but is it true?
