can i merge my magix music maker on to my Steam account?

i've lost so much data (songs i created) in the past 12 years because of PC failers, now i have a chacne to place Magix music maker in my steam account

@Roberto-Cervantes I don't know about Steam, but is there some reason you're not using a portable drive or a usb thumbdrive for storing backups of your song files?

In addition to the very good advice from @gjonny, I have never used the Steam version of any software but my understanding is that ONLY software purchased from Steam can be added to your Steam account.
