Can I export my movie back onto my MiniDV camcorder tape?

I have edited my camcorder video using Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus. I now want to send the edited film back onto my Mini DV tape, via the camcorder. How do I do this please?

Ben,

Only certain export file formats can be sent to external devices. In MEP14+ the 'File' >> 'Export movie' >> Video as DV-AVI...' window has a check box 'Output after rendering...' which indicates a dialog will open after the rendering is complete.

Your will probably have to set up your DV camera as well, and I don't think all cameras can do it. I tried it quite some time ago and think there was a trick -- my Canon camera had to be in playback mode even though it was obviously recording onto the tape!
