Hi

Yes you can import MMJam project files from a mobile (Android) phone as follows:

  1. Save the project on the Android phone.

  2. From the start menu of MMJAM on the phone, select the Projects button.

  3. Touch and hold your finger on the project name saved above- a menu will appear.

  4. Select Export project - give the project a name and supply your email address the software is registered with - this is necessary.

  5. Connect the phone into your computer.

  6. Open Music Maker 2015 and select File, Import, Music Maker Jam project.

  7. Click the Search button and browse to the Music folder on the phone - this is the default location project files are exported to - select and import the required .mmmproject file.

NOTE: this may take some time - the soundpool files have to be downloaded to your computer.

  8. Save the project in MMM2015.

You can now edit the project in MMM2015.

Thank you for the reply John!!

I tried all the steps you've given me and I get an error after I've click the "open" button once I've tracked down the project file on the tablet.

It says... "error occured during project import. please try again. please make sure you are connected to the internet"... which I am connected.

I tried opening other "online" functions within MM2015 and have no issues accessing the internet.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi

@murd3rsauc3

Welcome to the forum, please do not resurrect old topics, the versions of Music Maker Jam and Music Maker have both changed since this topic was started.

Please create a new post and supply more information - in particular the full name and version numbers for the two programs you are using, these are found under Help, About.
