Is it possible to load the sounds from a Sony minidisc player ( via the soundcard, the connection fits ! ), into MM16 for editing/arranging, in the way I can use C.D. to MM16 ?

You asked a good question. I think it is possible if you use computer sound card and not any mixer or interface.(I never did it)
Example what if you use Mic instead your Sony player? in Magix we can record our voice. Then what you are thinking could be possible. For connection why not refer two Pdf may be they will help you.
