Can effects be MIDI controllable?

Hi, I'm using ACID 10. Have just picked up izotope's StutterEdit 2. To use the "gestures" (presets) in that plugin, you need to be able to use MIDI to trigger them - certain presets are assigned to keys on MIDI keyboard. Can't work out how to get this working in ACID. Anyone know how to do this? Sorry, I'm a noob.
