Burning Fuji W3 3D video SBS avi files to DVD thru Movie Edit Pro 17 plus

I have the Fuji Fine Pix W3 3d camera. I have copied some of the 3D avi files out and they are on my hard drive. These are files that should have 2 files within them. But other software apps seem to only work with one of the two, and when I burn to DVD and play it, there is no 3D, only 2D.

I want to be able to end up with these files on a burned DVD – side by side format. I do know that if this happens my 3D blu-ray player will recognize them and my 3d TV will adjust for SBS 3D, and all I have to do is put on my 3D glasses and I can watch it.

I have Movie Edit 17 pro plus – but I am just a beginner. What all (steps, screens, settings) do I have to do to make this happen?

Have you used the MEP 'Help' files or the pdf manual?

I've not yet tried 3D editing, but a web search found some links that may be useful:

http://www.3dphoto.net/forum/index.php#c1 -- a highly recommended 3D forum

http://www.3dphoto.net/forum/index.php/board,60.0.html -- has three MEP 17 tutorials

http://www.avsforum.com/t/1270718/official-fujifilm-3d-w3-photo-video-camera/300 --  has this:

I followed these instructions to create a video I can play through my Serviio media share to my Samsung 3D TV. I used Magic Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus. With version 17, you need to have the "Plus" version to do 3D.

1. Place Fuji 3D video clip(s) on the Magix timeline.
2. Use the Menu->File->Export Movie->Video as MPEG-4
3. Set "Stereo 3D" to Side-bySide (left first) half width
4. Press OK and wait for file to export completely
5. Rename the output file with the prefix "[3D]"

I just wanted to reply to the member who answered my question (still trying to figure out this website, let alone the software).  I ended up figuring out the solution myself. I have yet to look at the links that you sent me. Just wanted to say that I appreciate the time and effort you provided to answer me!
I don’t have the application in front of me so I will try to remember how I solved my problem. I started a project. I imported my avi video files. Then I hit the burn button at the top. Somewhere along the line, I found a setting that said side by side, left side is left (or something like that). I used the highest quality setting in the encoder screen. Then I hit the burn icon, and when I popped the DVD into my player, it worked.
It appears to not be a complex solution – but reading the manual and also the PDF file was really not much help. This application appears to have a LOT (I mean A LOT) of functionality. Someone needs to create a book entitled Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus – the Missing Manual.

I have done all these steps below (1-5).

I am still not sure if Magix generate 3D file from one original image (left or right) or from both?

Any ideas how to check it?
