Dear friends,
How can one balance the light of an image that has two lighting? I mean if I take the subject that is backlit, the whole picture looks awkward with some part lit and rest dark? Even if I play with the exposure compensation, nothing happens?
If not the camera settings, how can I at least set the same in editing?
Can someone help me please?

You can adjust the Gamma controls to increase the brightness of the dark areas of the picture, however you can introduce noise into these areas of the image. This i due to there being very little detail information in them.
True HDR, with different exposured images is the way to go for still images as I demonstrated in your previous question here.
With video the issue is much more difficult, the only real solution, is to use a professional video camera which has adjustable Gamma control built in However even these are limited by the contrast range of the sensor.
