Bought program on wrong account

Sarah-Night wrote on 4/6/2020, 5:19 PM

I had two magix accounts.

The one I had logged in on the program was NOT the one I bought and activated the new program with.

It will not let me log out when I try to from the music maker program so that I can access what I just purchased.

Can someone PLEASE help? I don't want to have just wasted $70 on a program I can't use due to it being on the wrong account and it not letting me switch from within the program...

@Sarah-Night

Welcome to the Magix forums.

I think the only method by which you might resolve this is if you contact Magix sales, either via the Support buttom in the header of any forum page or via this page. This is a user to user forum and, unless another user has experienced exactly this issue, advice may be scarce.

I'm not sure either about your problem of being unable to log out of one account. How, exactly, are you trying to do this? I've just checked on my system and to log out you need to click on your email address, then a screen opens named Magix Account. This includes the option to Log out. You see a warning message about the Store being reset, etc. There is also a space to enter any "new" serial number but, in your case presumably, if you do that you will lose the instruments etc. linked to your first account?

Is there any special reason why you have two accounts? Unless there is I would suggest you ask Magix to amalgamate your accounts and thus avoid this problem in the future.
