I have an object with an applied chroma key effect, but when I have a size/position effect with animation on it, it has a slim black outline. What is wrong?
Unfortunately, the information you've given is still lacking some key details.
We must assume your version of the program is the "basic" one, not "Plus" or "Premium". Is that correct?
Precisely which build of the program are you running? If you're not sure go to Help>About and give us the details shown there. Have you checked whether there any updates available?
Have you checked that the drivers for your graphics card are fully up to date?
What version of Windows are you running?
How much RAM is installed?
What size/type(s) of hard drive do you have installed or available and how much free space in total?
With that sort of detail and information it might be possible for another user to offer some guidance to you.
sometime when you use chromakey and resize the object it appear a black border line line rectangular. Add another effect the sameway as chromakey but select black and white alpha color to remove the tiny black border.
I'm still unclear about exactly what you are doing. What is the object? What chroma key effect have you applied to it? What KF animation have you applied? And what is the background?
Also, it would be useful if you could upload a clip showing the undesirable border. Or at least a screenshot.
Meanwhile, in case it offers a clue, I used an arbitrary KF animation (a simple zoom) with an arbitrary object (a JPG), a couple of arbitrary chroma keys (white and black) on a couple of arbitrary backgrounds (white and red) but could not reproduce what you described.
There is a slight border in your MP4 that looks like a normal chroma key fringe as it is in all the objects and border in the inserted object, and is more noticeable in the black/ red chroma key.
I am not sure what Yvon Robert is suggesting but it looks as though he might be suggesting a way to get rid of said fringe?
I think I can see what you mean, although it's very unobtrusive. I can only make it out over the red background on the top and right borders. I find it hard to envisage how this would be a problem in practice?
Maybe the OP will show us a screenshot or video clip.
. . . . I am not sure what Yvon Robert is suggesting but it looks as though he might be suggesting a way to get rid of said fringe? . . . .
There has been a similar discussion to this some time ago on the black border that can accompany a chromakey effect with animation.
I think what YR is suggesting is applying the Alpha chromakey to the same object as the existing chromakey option, however doing this cancels the previous applied chromakey effect - ie you can have only one chromakey effect applied to an object so this will not remove the black border.
Phew too many chromakeys there - I hope everyone can follow what I am saying 😕.
IIRC the answer to this problem was to adjust the Threshold and Fade range sliders to remove the slight fringe
I have suggested a solution to remove the black line border after applying a chromakey function to a movie, sometine when you rescale the movie a rectangle border appear and the way to remove it is to apply a second effect alpha key black or white.
Without an example I'm still unsure what you are suggesting. Do you simply mean: Apply a rectangular mask to an export of the original clip, slightly smaller than the original foreground object?
