Hi all, I would be very interested what folk think. Magix are offering a deal which includes MM and Music studio 2 and lots of loops for around £50  - an Xmas offer. If I get this would it be equivelent to having MM premium or Sampltude MS? I guess I want to know what are the differences between MM and MM premium as well as Magix music studio 2 and Sampltude music studio, all are the 2014 edition. I have searched and searched but cannot find a direct comparison between these different progs. That is apart from the amount of loops that come with each package. I am new to this and would love all the different alternatives spelt out for me. I am paticularly interested in the auto jam session capability as well as vocal tune. I would probably be working iniitially with loops etc, and also use midi input from a keyboard. I guess I want to able to experiment with a minimum of restriction.  Any info would be appreciated.

Hi,

There is no direct comparison that I could find. You have to read through all of the features for each product and create your own.

For more information go to the Magix Magazine at

http://magazine.magix.com/en/

Search for DAW and read a couple of the articles that describe more as to what the programs do.

You can also download the trial software and try out the programs. You may quickly run into limitations with the programs. However, if you buy the basic versions Magix will eventually offer you good deals on switching to a higher version when the 2015 upgrades come out.
