being messed about. NOT ON AT ALL

I have been trying to contact someone about your website, if you could contact me via EMAIL, I would be able to calm down a bit. I have been going around in CIRCLES FOR THE LAST HOUR. And I am pig sick of it. I ask a simple question, and get a nonsensical answer, from a supposedly brainy computer. My question is about the 2014 audio stupid lab. which I have been trying to get running for over an hour. But when I tried to enter the activation I got this:-

You have activated this program too many times. 😖

Why don't you tell people that there is a limit on how many times they can be activated.  THESE ARE MY PROGRAMS.  It is just not on,  I have been trying to get these sorted out for over a week now,  BUT what happens, activated too many times.  Will you get real. and tell me how to activate my TWO programs?  my motto (below) is not just for me it is for anyone.  And I am sick to the back teeth of companies treating their customers as though they all pirates.  Afterall, I have had these two programs for over 6 years.  You might own the copywrite to them, BUT I own the right to use them as many times as I like.  Not until the activation number is reached.  If you had told me about this in the first place, (2014), I might not have bought them.  Rant over.  Please sort this out for me A.S.A.P.  Thankyou.

Your's Very UNhappilly

Randall Green.

Hi

Please note this is a user to user forum not Magix Support

Logon to your Magix account on the magix.com website using the email address and password the software was registered and select My Products once logged in.

There you will see your program registration(s), serial number(s), download link(s) and a link for more details, open this and you should see the activations used - de-activate the appropriate one if you have installed and use on 2 computers.

You should be able to re-activate the software on your computer.

If you cannot see the activations you need to contact Magix Support through the support link above to get the activation settings reset.

@johnebaker

The OP has an older version of ACL that does not have the same 2-computer activate/deactivate possibility. These older versions were limited in the number of activations, so the only way that I know of is to ask Magix to reset the counter.

The OP must have reinstalled ACL several times or changed computer configurations several times to have this happen.

That said, I thought that there was now a way to do this through the Activation Screen.

See above. The limited number of activations was an anti-piracy method that has since been changed. If there were unlimited activations, there would have been rampant piracy.

Hiya Johnebaker,

My user name is bugrit, I have not used magix support because of the totally stupid robot that everyone uses nowadays. Customers should not have to rely on pretend people to find thing out. There should be a human being that is overseeing the problems. The email address you have used above when you re-plied to me, will not work, Everytime I try to login, I get the message "bugrit already in use", it will be. It has been MY username ever since I first registered with magix And earlier. I know it has been a while since I have been to the magix website (they didn't have anything like they do now). My user name already being in use, is the main reason I cannot get anywhere with this website. If you would be so kind as to help me sort this out. You would make an old man(72 next) very happy. Sorry to go on, but I get so het up. Thanks in advance Randall Green

HI Johnebaker

I cannot login, everytime I try I use my email address. I know I shouldn't do this, but needs must:-

My present email, which I have had for over15 years, when I try to login the email /user gets disallowed - as already in use. Until someone can sort that out I am stuck.

Best bugrit

Hi

. . . . You have activated this program too many times. . . . .

Getting that message would indicate that in program you are getting logged in.

I have sent a PM.
