@Ken-Malherbe

Welcomed to the Magix user to user forums.

When you completed the upgrade to MM Premium 2023 did you also install all the additional content that comes with it? I'm not at my normal desktop computer at the ,moment but check under Help for a link, or check the Downloads and/or Store tab in the app.

@Ken-Malherbe Try resetting the program settings under the File > Settings menu.

@emmrecs

Hi Jeff

Yes I have installed everything

@SP.

I rest the program and now it won't load at all!!

HELP!!

@Ken-Malherbe Please try restarting your computer. Do not select shut down and turn it back on but select to restart it.

Ken-Malherbe wrote on 9/12/2022, 6:29 AM

@SP.

Tried that and MM tried to open but then crashed again.

Am I able to delete MM and then download it again?

Would I lose anything (downloaded content) should I be able to go this route?

@Ken-Malherbe Reinstalling is an option. You can redownload everything from the in-app-store. I'm not sure why it crashes now. Could be a graphics driver problems. Are you using multiple monitors? Maybe disconnect all but one. Or update your drivers.

Ken-Malherbe wrote on 9/12/2022, 7:04 AM

@SP.

No just one monitor and all drivers up to date.

Was working fine (apart from Beatbox not loading) until I reset the program.

@Ken-Malherbe

Hi

Are you using an external USB audio device?

If so, the Muma location error is usually an ASIO conflict with external audio device, you need to do the fllowing:

  1. Download and install the audio device manufacturers ASIO drivers if you have not already done so.
  2. With the audio device disconnected start Music Maker.
  3. Plug in the audio device and wait for about 30 secs for it to be detected by Windows
  4. In Music Maker settings set the external audio device drivers for input/output as required.

@johnebaker

Hi John

Thank you for your comment and I apologise for the delay in responding to you (our country is having hectic loadshedding (blackouts) presently) and finding the time to sign on etc is frustrating.

I do not have any external audio device attached to my computer apart from my M-Audio keystation but the problem persists whether the keyboard is connected or not.

Some VST3 programs but some don't.

Not too sure of what further I can do apart from deleting everything and downloading MM Premium again or asking for a refund of my money.

Any recommendations?

TIA

Ken

@Ken-Malherbe Try re-scanning the VST path.
