Bad upgrading process 19 to 20 - what is going on?

Hi all,

I got a notification to upgrade from 19 to 20. Great! I chose to install. At the very end there was a window which simply said "Remove Product". Now, obviously I do not want to remove Vegas so I exited the screen without clicking 'Remove'.

Now it appears the programme doesn't actually upgrade itself? It simply installed Vegas 20, so I now have two Vegas products on my PC. That's not very good.

Anyway, I clicked on Vegas 20 and received the error:

You have reached the maximum allowed number of simultaneously usable devices for this program. You can easily activate the software for this device through the MAGIX Service Center.

Well, I went to the Service Center and there doesn't seem to be an intuitive way to get this working. And to receive support from the team will take an estimated 2-4 days?! What?! I am so disheartened by this process because it is counter-intuitive and support is lacking.

Please, forum, explain to me like I am give years old how to get this working! I just want to edit videos with Vegas 20!

Thanks for reading!
