hello, after upgrading my version Magix Movie Studio 2022 suite I cannot upload and fully activate the plugin NewBlue Stylizers 5 Illuminate with 33 parts loads only 11 please help
New Blue Stylizers 5 Illuminate only contains 11 filters, New Blue Stylizers 5 Collection includes more than 30 filters, but it is unlikely that Magix would have included that package
What is the precise issue you are having with the NB effects, ie they will not install, activate are you are getting only the 11 effects as the OP was getting?

Do NB mean the 'bug' is with the NB effects or with VDL 2023?
What is the specification of your computer system including Windows version, program version and Antivirus program, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s)you are working with if this is a laptop.
I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.
Directly after starting installation I closed VDL (ctrl-alt- del showing no programs running) (because in other trials I got a notification that VDL was blocking installation)
Installation went on and on completion it stated that the installation was susccesfull (so no errors or blockades reported…….but….
Started VDL and after opening the effects I saw that nothing was installed and I should do it all over again. Tried that, but not succesfull.
Same results after resetting the factory settings of my PC.

I'm sorry that didn't work for you but thanks for letting me know what troubleshooting steps you took. Unfortunately this looks like a known bug some of our MAGIX and VEGAS users are experiencing. So I'm going to put your ticket on hold and escalate it to our development team. Our development team is actively working on a solution so there should be a resolution pretty soon. (Please note that this is not the only problem...... A much bigger problem is that VDL is crashing time after time even after a very short period of using it - this can only be solved with ctrl-alt-delete and a restart - I tried to solve this with resetting the standard settings in VDL, without succes. - Should I start another forum question on this or can you advise me?) PSE DISREGARD THE CRASHING PROBLEM. IT IS SOLVED AFTER UPDATING DRIVERS (NEWBLUE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS AFTER UPDATING)
Thank you very much. Installed Intel driver & support assistant and Nvidia Geforce Experience and used them to update my drivers today. It seems to have solved the problem that VDL2023 did crash frequently. I am very gratefull for that. Thank you. At least I can use the program now.
Sadley it did not solve the problems with Newblue.
Hi Ray. After activating the contents via the helpfunction in VDL the download can start by clicking the arrow on the icons in VDL After downloading the installation starts. After installation it is stated that the installation was succesfull. The downloading arrows are gone. All the downloaded elements are displayed in the 'effects section' of VDL. When trying to use an effect on a clip or frame, the effect causes a red cross in the monitor and that's all. When looking in my part of the Newblue site the instlalled effects are visibel but it states that they are not activated. After closing en restarting VDL the effects icons are still visible onder 'effects' but the final installation has gone downloadingarrows are there again and downloading is required again . I have tried installation directly from the Newblue site. Same result.
The New Blue Effects do need you to make an account with them for the effects to activate. A red cross normally means the effects are not registered with your account at New Blue. Have you logged into your account at New Blue to see if the packs have been registered and activated?
In my account they are registrated (find them with their codenumbers ) but when I hit the activation button then it states: This product is not activated on any machines. (Even Titler Pro which is working in good order on my pc).
I cán downoad from that point but when I do........ same bad results as before and still not activated
Sorry to be pedantic but you have opened an account at New Blue to allow registration? Looks like this?
And when you click on the icon in the top right hand corner of any open New Blue Effect you can get to this page to see whether the plugin is active or not?
If so and all looks well it might be a good idea to get them to explain their specs pages for the plugins.
What do they mean by a recent GPU? and at what point does not having a GPU with 4GB of ram become a problem?
Also I notice your Windows 10 build is 10.0 19044. I don't know if that is applicable but my Windows 10 build is version 22H2 OS build 1945.2193. I think yours is many updates behind. It may help to get Windows updated if you can.

Not pedantic but trying to help, I think. Updated Windows 10 and all optional updates. Same problem. Downloading en installation succesfull but no activation and red crosses in the monitor. I am running around in circles again and again. Thank you for your support Ray, but i will let it go for some time. Just tired off it.
It is difficult from both ends. The end user and the programmers. The programmers don't know the setup of the customers individual computer components and try their best to make their products as compatible as they can but there are so many variations within personal computers it's hard to accomplish. Then again They should not be so vague in their system requirements. They must have a minimum spec machine to test on as well as a high end one, so why not give that machines' specs'? Words like 'recent' are vague at best. I don't blame the programmers, but the advertising people who (in my opinion, and having been working with advertising agencies) try to bend truths so as not to put consumers off. I do understand your frustration. I had an hour last week where my mouse just stuck fast. Had left and right clicks and nothing else. Took me ages to sort it out. Had nothing to do with Magix but a stuck Microsoft update. I'm assuming you were going to show me an image the same as mine showing the program was active. In which case I have to admit to being stumped. I hope you get some resolve from New Blue soon.
Upgraded to MS2023 for half price yesterday. The offer included NewBlue Stylizers & Essentials 5 Ultimate.
All installed OK except NewBlue Essentials 5. The effects load and work but it's not activatiing for some reason and the effects show a watermark. MEP has no activation button to press, and my account at NewBlue shows the serial number but states no activations on this computer.
So probably the same as posted above except mine has installed and work but not activate.
I already have Stylizers 5 installed, that was already activated and works as it should: I do appear to have an extra 3 effects in Stylizers now though.
I'm just about to raise a ticket with Magix, I've emailed NewBlue as well and there initial answer is to delete everything with NewBlue in the title - files and registry - and start again. I'm reluctant to do that because all other NewBlue category effects work as they should and if it's a Magix problem with activation I may not get them back for some time, even though i very rarely use them.
