Bad sound in Audio Cleaning Lab 2014

leif.lidholm wrote on 7/4/2014, 4:24 AM

I bought some years ago Music Cleaning Lab 3.0 and I have been very satisfied. Ihave a new computer with OS Windows 7 and I have to find a new program since the mentioned does'nt work with this OS.

Therefore I downloaded the trial program.ACL 2014 but I'm not satisfied.

When I make a recording from a CD, the sound is "metallic" and the dynamic of the sound is bad. I have tried many diffrent setting but nothing seams to work.

If I load a file the problem is not there.

Have you any ideas of the problem ?

Hi John

My setting is Wav 16 bit stereo 44100Hz.  Driver system MME.

I have tried 32000Hz  and 22050 Hz but the problem remain.

Hi

I went in to my soundcard on my computer and made some adjustment settings on the bitrate and frequencies.

24 bit and 48.000 Hz. for In and out.

It seams to work now and I think the problem is solved.

Thank you for your help in this matter !!
