Background music

Movie Edit Pro MX Plus

Is there an easy way to make a short audio clip (background music) repeat across the full length of a long video? In cases like this, repeatedly cloning the short audio clip I want to use takes forever.

I'm currently using the trial download so have no User Guide.

Not at my MX machine to check for anything better, but what my help is to hold down the [Ctrl] key as you drag your object. This will create and re-position a copy in one operation. Repeat as necessary...

I think there may be a way of converting a sound sample into an object that will auto-duplicate as far as you stretch it
