AVCHD to DB-R with HD video and 5.1 surround sound

When I play back a Blu-Ray disk authored using MEP 15 Plus, it only has stereo, even though I had the 5.1 buttton lit on the surround sound mixer.  Also, only 2 of the 6 metering bars light up.  The Sony AVCHD m2ts file contains the 5.1 audio, demonstrated as it will split from 1 into 3 audio tracks if "extract sound chanels" is done.

What am I doing wrong?

Is authoring DB-R disks with 5.1 audio not supported with MEP 15 Plus?

Is it supported in later versions?

Hi

You need to plit the audio into the three tracks using the extract sound channels then continue editing etc.

When you come burn the BD ensure you have the AC3 codec selected and set to 5.1 surround sound.
